2. Mystery Scoop Mechanics (The "Surprise" Factor)
Randomization: You understand that "Mystery Scoops" are a surprise product. We do not guarantee specific colors, items, or brands unless explicitly stated in a "Specific Theme" listing.

No Swaps: Items cannot be exchanged or swapped once scooped or shipped because a customer "dislikes" the selection.

Value: While we strive to ensure the retail value of the scoop meets or exceeds the purchase price, "value" is based on our suggested retail prices.

 

3. Social Media & Content
Consent to Film: By providing your social media handle in the "Order Notes" after purchase, you grant Northern Mystery Scoops permission to film the fulfillment of your order and share that footage on platforms including, but not limited to, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

Shoutouts: We may use your first name or social handle in the video. If you wish to remain anonymous, please leave the order notes blank.

4. Payments & Pricing
All prices are in Canadian Dollars.

We reserve the right to change prices or discontinue items  at any time without notice.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases.

 

4. Prohibited Uses
You are prohibited from using the site or its content:

For any unlawful purpose.

To solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts.

To harass, abuse, insult, or intimidate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability. This includes aggressive or bullying behavior during Live Scooping sessions on social media.

 

5. Limitation of Liability
Northern Mystery Scoops shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from the use of products purchased (e.g., allergic reactions to lip balms or small parts that may be choking hazards). Please use all products as intended and keep small items away from children.

 

6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

Mystery Scoops are a "Surprise Purchase" retail model, not a form of gambling or a lottery.

Guaranteed Tangible Goods: Unlike gambling, there is no "loss" state. Every purchase results in the customer receiving physical retail goods (stationery, beauty products, and accessories).

 

Fixed Value: The price paid is for a specific volume of goods (e.g., one scoop, two scoops). We ensure that the total retail value of the items provided is consistently representative of the price paid by the consumer.

 

Entertainment Value: The "mystery" element is an aesthetic and entertainment feature of the shopping experience, similar to a "Blind Box" or "Grab Bag" found in traditional retail stores.

 

Skill & Chance: No skill is required, and no "winnings" are promised beyond the physical products listed in the bin description.

 

9. Product Safety & Age Requirements
Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from this site. If you are under 18, you may only use this site with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

 

Safety Warning: Our scoops contain small items (keychains, pen caps, hair clips) that may pose a choking hazard. These products are not intended for infants or small children.
